We bought a new Rheem system in September 2018. I’m retired and I had plenty of time to get 6 proposals for our new HVAC system . My furnace and AC had reached 25 years of use. While doing research I found that a quality installation contractor is the most important single factor. The presentation, knowledge, and quality Rheem product Mike presented was superior to all others. The price was more than competitive. The installation of our new furnace and air conditioner was well done and the system is significantly quieter than our old system. We went with the 80% efficient 2 stage and variable speed fan. Mike recommended a unit of somewhat smaller BTU than our previous and as I write this its 25 degrees outside and the house is toasty in all rooms. I’m completely pleased with the service, quality, and price Gustafson furnished. I would definitely use them again. I suggest you talk with Mike before you commit to anything else. You might even save some money as we did!
Was trying to decide what company to go with for new furnace and central air conditioning installation. Called around to 6 different companies, Gustafson heating & ac was among the best price with the best available equipment (rheem, Bryant etc.) When Mike came out to our property in Aurora, co. He provided us with insight to the whole process that would be required. He also noticed the electrical panel only had room for one more slot which would have been the air conditioner, so he recommended we upgrade that as well. He was able to get us a quote for the whole project to include electrical panel replacement. Mike was able to have his guys work around my schedule because I had upcoming surgery. The lead project manager Hugo and Jacob were very helpful and knowledgeable, they did not mind taking time to answer any questions we had. They completed the furnace install/replacement in around 6 hours. They also removed all the old parts/pieces from the old furnace. Upon completion of the entire job, Hugo ensured the furnace was working as it should be and made sure we were aware how to operate the thermostat. The Air conditioner was put through many tests to ensure it would be running at peak performance throughout the summer. 2 days after completion of install of a/c, furnace and electrical panel. Aurora inspectors came out to our residence to make sure everything was done correctly and completely. The inspectors stated “whoever did this for you did a really good job, I see no issues at all.” Needless to say, I highly recommend Gustafson heating & AC to anyone in the market. These guys will make it worth your while. Mike thanks again for always keeping me in the loop about details and what was going on. You guys are awesome.

I have been using this company for over 10 years. They installed an AC, humidifier and worked on my 20 year-old furnace. They are professional, honest and knowledgeable. They are half the price of most other places in town and the quality is beyond reproach. As the other reviewer noted they will do almost anything to save you money.

Amazing service! I called Gustafson at 7 in the morning after my heater stopped working in the middle of the night. It was 3 degrees out and the forecast was calling for 6 days of the same. I have two young kids and a space heater got us through the night, but was unable to keep up. By the time I got them to school, the house was down to 40 degrees. I expected I would have to call a long list of heating and air companies to find someone to charge me emergency rates to come out the same day, being the first real cold snap of the year. They were my first and last call. I got their number from a sticker on the unit from the original installation, found them to open and answering the phone by 7am, and had an appointment for the same day in no time. They were able to get to my house right on time, diagnose the issue, and pickup and install the part in about an hour. The cost repair was very reasonable with no surprise “extras” The house was warm by the time the kids were out of school and we have been comfortable in the recent sub-zero nights.
I am a Real Estate agent and many of my customers have used Gustafson’s. Many times we have short deadlines and Gustafson’s is always very good about getting a tech out to the property ASAP. Central air decided to conk out right before we left town. Called three different providers at 7am–one never returned my call, one could come at 4:30, but would have to charge me double time portal to portal (so I would be paying for his commute home), and finally Tom said he could come out that morning. He came, had the part (I diagnosed it ahead of time), and had it fixed in about 15 minutes. Great experience.
We’ve been using Gustafson since buying our new home in 2011 and they have always been great to work with. We had an issue with one of our AC units yesterday and I called Gustafson, expected a several day wait, but as always they came through much faster than expected. Robert was here this morning and everything is working like new.
Over the years, Gustafson has done quite a bit of work for me. They originally installed heaters (2) in my home 14 years ago, returned to do some duct work when we finished another part of the basement, installed a heater in a rental unit, and just this week installed an air conditioner in the same rental unit. They are wonderful to work with, and I trust them to do an excellent job for a fair price. I certainly would use them again and would feel very comfortable recommending them to others I know.

We have been using Gustafson for years and they have always been great! I googled them on Saturday to get their number instead of going downstairs again where it is posted on our furnace. I was disappointed to see the negative reviews right away – that has certainly not been my experience and we have been using them for about 10 years now. I called on Saturday and left a message, “my AC fan is making terrible noises”! I got a call back within a half an hour and after a couple of questions they thought it would run until Monday – and they would have someone out to check it out Monday. Saved a technician their Father’s Day weekend and me some money, I am sure – and it did make it through the weekend. Jeremy just left and we have new energy efficient indoor motor blower. The bearing on the original one was failing. They have done work for us including installing the HVAC when we finished our basement. It is my experience that they do exactly what they say they will do and they charge a fair price to do it. Highly recommended.

Everyone from Sales Representative Mike, to Jacob and other installers they were all fantastic, we had a furnace put in a few months ago, and they were great and very competitive on pricing, we used them again to install a humidifier, and a few weeks later for a gas line installation. They are great and very professional and courteous of your home, and the salesman went above and beyond helping us in anyway. Highly recommend.
